Jan 15 (Reuters) - A "hazardous tsunami" has been generated by volcanic activity in Tonga, the U.S.-based Pacific tsunami warning center said.
There is a threat to American Samoa of sea level fluctuations and strong ocean currents that could be a hazard along beaches in harbors, it said in a statement https://tsunami.gov/events/PHEB/2022/01/15/22015050/1/WEZS40/WEZS40.txt.
